Welcome to the final week of October! The weeks are flying by! This past week, our classroom said goodbye to a wonderful student and friend. Layla has moved to England with her family, and has left her email address with me. If any of you would like to stay in touch with her, let me know and I will provide you with her contact information! We, as a class, will try to keep in contact with her throughout the year by email. Friday was a very touching day for everyone in the class as we said our goodbyes. We will all miss you, Layla!
I would like to send out a huge thank you to all students, parents, families and friends who donated food items to the Interfaith Food Bank. Our class donated over 60 items! Thank you to everyone who took the time to think about those in need. Also, the beef jerky sales were excellent! We have not tallied up how much we have sold as a class, but we will find out soon.
Thank you to all parents who have volunteered to provide our Halloween party with snacks! The Grade 3 team really appreciates this. I will send home a notification as a reminder for what snacks you have signed up to bring. If you have not signed up to provide a snack, there is still time! Any and all help during the Halloween party is greatly appreciated!
