And we're into December! This month will be filled with so many exciting activities with a few very important dates. First, please review the following details regarding the Christmas concerts that take place this week. Thursday the 10th is when the Grade 3s will perform, but I have included Tuesday's schedule as well for drop off and pick up times.
Tuesday (EEP, Kindergarten, Gr. 2, Gr. 4):
Dropping off your child at College Drive Community Church (drop off starts at 6:00pm; doors to the sanctuary open at 6:00pm; concert starts at 6:30pm):
Please drop your students off in the Multi-level classrooms in the church. You can access this entrance to the Multi-level classrooms by following these directions: When you first enter the church through the main entrance turn immediately to the right and walk towards the washrooms. The entrance to the Multi-level classrooms will be right in front of you as you approach the washrooms. Kindergarten, Grade 2, and Grade 4 student will need to be dropped off at the entrance to the Multi-level classrooms (the right of the washrooms). EEP students will go to the classrooms to the left of the washrooms.
Picking up your child after the concert:
If you have a child in Kindergarten and Grade 2, your child will be waiting for you on the stage in the sanctuary.
If you have a child in Grade 4, your child will be waiting for you in the foyer.
If you have a child in EEP (Early Education Program), your child will be waiting for you in the rooms where you first dropped them off.

Mrs. VanRoon’s students will go to the classrooms to the left of the washrooms and find the “Fireside Room”. Grade 1 students will go to the right or left of the washrooms as we have them split in two different (but close) locations – please find your child’s Grade 1 teacher to know which room to go into.
Picking up your child after the concert:
If you have a child in class Grade 1 or 5, your child will be waiting for you on the stage in the sanctuary.
If you have a child in Grade 3 or Mrs. VanRoon’s class, your child will be waiting for you in the foyer.
During the final week of school, we will be taking the class to a Ukrainian Dance show at the Galt Museum. We will also be going as a grade 3 team to Nicholas Sheran arena for skating. I sent home a green and red notice regarding each of these field trips. Please fill them out and return to me as soon as possible! We will be taking a bus to the Galt Musuem, but still require volunteers to supervise. We do require parent drivers for our skating trip. It is greatly appreciated if you can get that information to me as soon as possible. Thank you in advance!
