Welcome to April! I hope everyone enjoyed the holiday! The Easter party on Friday was a huge success. Thank you to everyone who sent snack items for the students to enjoy! We had a great time at our assembly where our class won the Spirit Cup for the month of March! Way to go, everyone! Our class demonstrated wonderful etiquette throughout the day which won us the prize! Everyone looked fabulous!
This week we will be completing our Building Project that we began before Easter. Students have gotten off to a great start building their bridges and towers. We will test them this week and then make any necessary changes. If your child would like to bring in any other recyclable materials, feel free to send it in!
Finally, during the first week back after Easter, Mike Mountain Horse will begin working on raising funds for Canadian Cancer Society. Perhaps you have seen some family over the Easter break. We will be doing a cancer walk on April 12 and we are asking our students to collect from family to help with our goal of raising $3000.00 for cancer research. Our beloved Mrs. Wik from preschool will have her head shaved at an assembly on April 19. Any students wishing to do the same are welcome to get a permission form from their teachers.
